4th Bauerfeind Phlebology Award Won by Dutch Researcher
Dutchman Roeland Ceulen, MD, is the winner of the Bauerfeind Phlebology Award, which is jointly awarded by the International Union of Phlebology and Bauerfeind AG for the fourth time this year. With his study design in compression therapy, the winner, a specialist in dermatology, convinced an international jury chaired by Prof. Dr. Hugo Partsch and clearly asserted himself against highly qualified competitors from Slovenia, Poland, France and Switzerland.

The Announcement of 4th Bauerfeind Phlebology Award has raised a broad level of interest in the professional field. By the time of the deadline on March 30, 2007, numerous study designs from countries such as Slovenia, Poland, France, The Netherlands and Switzerland were received.

At the Asian Chapter Meeting of the IUP to be held in Kyoto in June 2007 the Bauerfeind Phlebology Award will be presented for the fourth time by the International Union of Phlebology and Bauerfeind. The deadline for applications for study designs on compression therapy is March 30, 2007.

3rd BSPA goes to Swiss scientist , 29.09.2005
Swiss scientist Dr. Christina Jeanneret has been named the winner of the 3rd Bauerfeind Scientific Phlebology Award (BSPA) by the International Union of Phlebology and Bauerfeind AG. With her study design in the field of compression therapy, Dr. Jeanneret, an angiologist, won this prestigious award over other highly qualified experts from Hungary, France, Austria, and Slovenia.
