The first prize winner of the Bauerfeind Phlebology Award was Dr. Yared Herouy. The second, Dr. Susanna Heising from the University Ernst Moritz in Greifswald has presented her results as well. The third prize winner of the Bauerfeind Scientific Phlebology Award of the IUP is the swiss scientist Dr. Christina Jeanneret.
